At Columbia, Dr. Passman was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society, named Dean’s Scholar, and received the Class Committee Award conferred to the top 10% of the class for academic excellence. She regularly participated in the American Dental Association’s Give Kids A Smile (GKAS) program and also performed pro bono dental work for orphans in Cambodia.
Dr. Passman is trained in a wide variety of orthodontic methods ranging from classical techniques to modern, cutting-edge, technologies like InvisalignTM, lingual braces, and temporary anchorage devices. She is a firm believer in lifelong learning and keeps abreast of the latest research in her field while constantly striving to provide her patients with the safest, evidence-based treatments.
As a classically trained pianist, Dr. Passman’s other great passion is music. You are quite likely to find her at concerts often in the company of her daughter, herself a budding pianist.
